Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information FreeFasting.com collects when you visit the site, why, and what choices you have. We aim to keep this readable rather than exhaustive — if anything is unclear, please contact us.

Who We Are

FreeFasting.com (“we,” “us,” “the site”) operates the educational content at https://freefasting.com. We do not sell products, run a paid membership, or maintain user accounts. The site is supported by display advertising.

What We Collect Directly

Almost nothing. The site does not require accounts, does not ask you to enter personal details to read content, and does not run forms that store your data on our servers.

If you email us at info@freefasting.com, we receive your email address and the contents of your message. We use this only to respond to you.

What Your Browser Stores Locally

The fasting timer feature on the site uses your browser’s local storage to save:

  • Your selected fasting protocol
  • The start time of an active fast
  • Your fasting history (last 30 entries)

This information stays in your browser. It is never transmitted to us. Clearing your browser’s site data deletes it.

Third-Party Advertising (Google AdSense)

FreeFasting.com displays ads served by Google AdSense. Google uses cookies and similar technologies to show ads that may be relevant to you, to measure ad performance, and to detect ad fraud. This data is processed by Google according to its own privacy policy.

What this means for you:

Cookies

The cookies set by this site fall into two categories:

  • Functional / local storage — used by the fasting timer to remember your protocol and progress. Not used for tracking.
  • Advertising cookies — set by Google AdSense as described above.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies, though doing so may affect site features (the fasting timer will not remember your settings if you block storage).

Children

FreeFasting.com is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Intermittent fasting is not appropriate for children, and our content is written for adults.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding personal data — for example, the right to access, correct, or delete data held about you, or to object to certain processing.

Because we collect almost no data directly, most rights requests should be directed at our advertising partner (Google) for ad-related data. For email correspondence you’ve sent us, contact info@freefasting.com to request deletion.

Data Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Email correspondence is processed by standard email providers and is subject to their security practices.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. The “last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be reflected in the same way.
